Top Tips for Healthy Nails!!!

  1. Moisturize hands and feet regularly and use cuticle oil to condition the skin around the nails. Wear rubber gloves for household cleaning and don’t wear ill fitting shoes.
  2. Buffing smooths ridges, making the nail surface shine and polish go on more evenly. Don’t buff nails more than every couple of weeks, or you may weaken the nail bed.
  3. Always apply base coat under your polish. It provides a surface for the nail polish to adhere to and prevents it from staining the nail.
  4. Always apply top coat- it helps the polish to last longer and gives a mirror-like shine. Fast-drying top coat speeds up the drying time.
  5. Chipped nails look awful and are more noticeable on dark polish. Don’t pick at it, as this weakens the nail- take it off using nail polish remover.
  6. False nails ruin the condition of natural nails – don’t be tempted!!!
