Top Tips: How to Make your Blowout Last!!!

  1. The less product you use the longer your blowout will look fresh.
  2. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase! This is gentler on the hair than cotton and can prolong your hairstyle.
  3. If your hair is a bit oily, but you don’t want to wash it yet, try hair powder. Light blondes can use baby powder. If your hair is darker, use a powder specially formulated for your hair color. Sprinkle a little on your hair, comb or brush through, and go. The powder is absorbed by the oils on your hair; it won’t fall onto your shoulders unless you use too much.
  4. Is your hair looking limp? Backcomb it. Gather the top layer and clip to the top of your head. Tease the exposed layer with a teasing comb (a special kind that has tightly spaced teeth and a long, thin tail). Undo the top layer and arrange over the teased hair. Instant volume!
