How To Blow-Dry Your Hair Perfectly!!!

Keep your hair looking sleek and shiny with a salon-style blow-dry at home! These tips should get your hair looking and feeling it’s best!

  • Comb your hair gently after shampooing and conditioning to remove any knots.
  • Gently squeeze your hair to remove any excess water.
  • Wrap your hair up in a towel for five minutes.
  • Get to work with your hair dryer. Make sure you blow-dry down the length of your hair from the roots to the tips. This makes the outer cuticle of each strand lie flat, which means shinier hair.
  • Work the hair dryer quickly over your head, ruffling your hair with your fingers at the same time.
  • Tip your head upside down while you direct the dryer’s nozzle at the roots. This will build body in your hair.
  • When your hair is just beginning to feel dry, start using a brush to style it.
  • Style the front of your hair first, as it’s the part everyone will notice! Work your way around to the sides and back. It may be helpful to use clips to section off the parts of your hair that you’re not working on at the moment.
  • Give your hair a final blast of cool air to set it.
  • Ruffle your hair with your fingers to add a little texture!
