All About The Pout

After you’ve applied your lipstick or lip gloss, put a dot of concealer, white eyeshadow, or pale shimmery gloss (whatever you use should be paler than the base lip color you’re wearing) right in the center of your lower lip. Blend slightly. This will add dimension to your lips.

Playing Cupid

After you’ve applied all your lip products, take a white pencil, concealer, or shadow and trace along with the cupid’s bow (the middle-third area) of your top lip. Again, blend slightly. This gives the illusion of fuller lips.

Fill ’em Up

Want to make your lips look bigger? Use a lip-colored liner and trace right outside your entire lip line. Don’t exaggerate the line too much, or your lips will look messy and cheap. Apply lipstick or gloss on top of that, but stick to light to medium colors. Wondering about those lip-plumping products? Don’t waste your money. Most don’t work and those that do only work temporarily.

Shrink’em Down

Want to make big lips look smaller? Trace just inside your lip line with a skin-colored pencil. Apply your lipstick or gloss inside the line, using a lip brush for precision. Dark lipstick and gloss make small lips look smaller, but they call attention to big lips.
