DIY Lip Balm (Beginner Friendly)

download-1

Many lip balms include petroleum jelly. However, as lip balm is applied to the mouth and could potentially be ingested, I much prefer to make my own using Coconut Oil, as it’s good for my inside as well as my outside!

What You Will Need:

          • Coconut Oil
          • Lipstick in the color of your choice
          • Small Container

Instructions:

Melt equal amounts of Coconut Oil and your chosen lipstick in the microwave for 60-90 seconds. Carefully remove from the microwave and mix well with a teaspoon or cocktail stick. Pour into the container and leave at room temperature until solid. Apply to the lips to moisturize and add a hint of color!!
