DIY: Coconut Oil Face Mask (For All Skin Types)

images

I suffer from Milia (small bumps under the skin) and so I have a couple of small red scars under my eye area. I started to use this mask and began to see results fairly quickly. Please note, this may not work for everyone and should not be used too often. Lemon juice can lighten the skin (as well as brighten it) so it may cause damage when exposed to the sun. If you wish, you can leave out the lemon juice when making the scrub/mask.

Be careful when using new products on your skin, even when they’re natural. Patch test any new products on a small area of skin before using on the face. Always consult your doctor if you have any skin conditions or problems. That being said, let’s get started!

You Will Need:

  • Lemon
  • Coconut Oil
  • Raw Honey

Instructions:

Take 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil and 2 tablespoons of Honey and stir until well blended. Add 1 teaspoon of Lemon Juice (optional) and stir. Apply the mask to your face, leave on for no longer than 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Pat dry with a soft facial towel. Remember, don’t rub, always pat!
