DIY Honey Face Mask (For Normal to Dry Skin)

DIY Honey Face Mask

There’s nothing better than some much-needed pamper time with a nice bubble bath and a face mask. You might not realize that a lot of ingredients in your kitchen can be used for this (the face mask, not the bath)!

Bananas, eggs, milk and even mustard can be great for your skin for a variety of different reasons, but I know none of these sounds particularly appealing to apply all over your face.

One of my favorite products to use on the skin is Honey. As it’s naturally antibacterial, it’s great at preventing acne. It is also moisturizing and leaves your skin with a beautiful glow. Applying raw honey to a slightly damp face and leaving for about 20 minutes will leave your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. You can also try adding some honey to your running bath and soaking your whole body in it for at least 15 minutes.

To enhance that glow even more and really make your skin feel rejuvenated, add some organic orange juice.

Thing You Will Need:

  • Honey
  • Orange Juice (Organic)
  • A Bowl
  • Tablespoons

Mix 1/2 cup of Honey and 3 tablespoons of Orange Juice. Orange juice is packed full of vitamin C and can help skin look young and replenished. Apply the mask all over your face in circular motions and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Pat your face dry and then apply your normal moisturizer. You will be amazed at how nice your skin will feel!
