How-To Battle Dull Skin!!!

download-1

A lifeless, dull complexion can be due to a lack of exfoliation: the dead-skin-cell layer is covering the fresh skin underneath. Internally, it can be an indicator of dehydration, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, or possibly a vitamin deficiency.

What You Can Do:

As we get older, our skin does not renew itself as efficiently as it used to, and daily exfoliation with a gentle scrub can do wonders to brighten the complexion. One of the best solutions for dull skin is exercise! Breaking a sweat cleanses the pores and makes your skin appear instantly brighter. Dehydration could also be the underlying cause. Drink more water throughout the day and supplement your diet with Omega-3 Oil, Borage Oil, and/or Flaxseed Oil. An equally important factor is your emotional well-being. When someone is overwhelmed or exhausted, you can actually see it on there face. So remember to exfoliate, stay hydrated, and exercise! See you next week!
